The new consoles showing their ages???? They just came out, and as far as I know, they still do the job they were designed for! Not more, not less.

Not OPINIONS 4 GAMERS. This is sad when articles like that are being posted here isn't it? Everybody can make their own opinions, but every now and then, the most stupids ones have to be posted here. Sad.

So true! Though, but since you've invented the Delorean Time Machine, you should still be able to write a decent article : )

1 Wii sports: Likely deserve to be in the top 10 though. It's the game that sold the Wii and it still one of the best Wii game.

2 Braid: A small literally unknown puzzle game being second??? Let me guess, we are lucky this journalist was tired of playing Solitaire on his PC, because this could have been second, but I guess now we know what ...

"Microsoft does not charge a royalty per disc, but there is a cost of goods that goes along with manufacturing. "

So those devs are complaining because they have to add a $.25 cost per dvd now? Very strange. Somehow, I have a feeling that they don't pay a royalty, but they may have to buy their dvds from Microsoft directly for $5.00 each : ) No royalties, just very expensive cost of goods...

Yep, both original games were truly absolutely awesome. But somehow, none of the sequel are day one buy for me...

I will wait for Gears 2 simply because it's pretty much the same unreal engine again. So it will likely be like any other unreal games (the feeling, not the look), though, they know how to push it hard, so who knows. Not a day one for me for sure, will wait for my friends to tell me more about it.

I will wait for Resistance 2 because I simply think they...

Today on Bloodmask pc:

Ring, Ring, Ring. Hello, this is the fans. Wake up and learn how a pc work before you say anything. No royalties on DVDs, huge game install, tons of room needed on hard drives. Uncompressing files. Owned.

This game or any games could be on 10 dvds and nobody would complaint. The problem is that Microsoft is charging royalties on EACH dvds, so the more dvds a game has, the less money the dev make. Today's margin are really slim. So the devs have two choices. Make a great game in many dvds, and let Microsoft rip the profit by getting more money for each dvds the game has, or simply gimp the game and make it fit on one, or two dvds and the devs suddenly end up with more money in their pockets bu...

"so I don't know what kind of outcome he expects from these comments. "

Well, Microsoft already said that it was ok to use the hard drive (even if they sell a console without a hard drive!), most likely thanks to Square Enix, but also many devs who were complaining about the fact they could not use the hard drive.

Same now goes for paying Microsoft extra if you make a game on more than one DVD. Microsoft is too greedy. If devs don't complaint about it, then...

As said by others, downloading 50Gig movies and games is around the corner, but it's not something you will see in rural area and small cities for quite a while. Not in 2-5 years like this goof seem to think. Wires won't do it, and fibers are just starting.

But sure enough, downloading is quite likely the future. Funnily, this guy bash the PS3, and it's the only current generation console that is really ready for that as it is! Every PS3 comes with a hard drive that is easily up...

I think it was during the E3, but it could be older. You need to have a Sirius account and a Live account. That's serious money just to listen to radio. It's a great news for people who already have both account, but I don't think people with Live account will want to pay more yearly money to get Sirius. And I don't think that people with Sirius account will buy a 360 and want to pay $50 a year to listen to some music (with noise coming out of the fan) when you can buy a $29 gizmo and conn...

Moore is simply awesome. A true asset for any company. Though a few things should not have came up. Maybe he's getting old?

"Microsoft set up a deal for us (SEGA) and we started to work on things like Crazy Taxi and bringing them over to Xbox – we did I think an 11 title deal."

Those kind of deals are not something you should talk about today in the news. Keep that under the carpet were they belong.

HDTVs are 1920X1080, so pretty much any current GPU can do that very easily. This standard is not about to change since it's limited by the cable bandwith. Sure there's already 2X HDTV and even 4X HDTV, but for 10 to 15 years to come, 1920X1080 is the standard that future game consoles have to meet, and again, this can already be done easily with today's GPUs.

On a side note, I can't believe they have picked "Phoenix" for the 360!!!

Read it at least once before you comment, and you will see it's more about how greedy Microsoft is. It would be very easy to add a browser to the 360. Only reason Microsoft is not doing it is because they are scared that somebody could play some games online for free. It's all about money for them. And that's the point of this article.

I would bet that it will eventually come out on the 360 since they have no choice though. People think they would not use such a browser often, ...

I love to hear any opinions from those great analysts. Since they are wrong most of the time, you just don't listen to them, take the opposite as granted, and sure enough, you will then most likely be right yourself.

What's even better? Tech Radar UK also has an article about which is the best tv to pick, and number one is: Pioneer Kuro PDP-LX6090 for "only" £4200 ($7500 U.S).

So on one side, you should buy a $7500 HDTV, but then you have a stupid moron telling you that a $29 dvd player is the only thing you need to watch ...

It's included with the Elite, but you have to buy it for the Arcade, unless you're playing your games in SD... OUCH... Sadly, you cannot buy any standard HDMI cable, because then, the arcade would be a better deal.
